Look at this lace favor bag I received. The lace bag has no bottom and attached to a silver mini plate. It is just adorable. Very creative, too.

It was empty after eating wedding cake in it. I wanted to fill this cute bag with some sweets. So I spent a little time to turn this favor bag, into a treat bag. Buut.. you know it filled with the non-sweet candy. 😀

Using my leftover yarns, I crocheted little balls to fill the bag. Just for fun actually. I’m just telling my experience…. It was more fun when someone actually thinks they are real for a moment. 😀

I’m sure, you will ask me where you can find this favor bag. As I told you I don’t know where these bags available because I received it. So I searched on Amason for similar products. But I only could find lace favor bag here and here and mini plates here and here separately. If you want to make the treat bag like mine, you need to cut the bottom of the bag and attached it using glue to the mini plate.

Let’s make crochet candy. I used leftover yarns and made 8 balls.

Skill level: easy

Finished size: small

  • Small amount of yarns about 5 yards long for one candy ball. Choose any color you want
  • 4 mm crochet hook
  • fiber fill stuffing
