Skill Level Easy

Materials

  • #2-Fine / sport weight yarn in 2 colors (yellow and white). (Approx: 10 yards for each color)
  • G-6, 4mm¬†crochet¬†hook
  • Tapestry¬†needle for weaving¬†ends.

Gauge: Gauge is not very important for this pattern.

Abbreviations

  • ch = chain
  • sl st = slip stitch
  • sc =¬†single¬†crochet
  • tr = treble crochet
  • st(s) =¬†stitch(s)
  • [ ] work instructions within brackets as many times as directed

Crochet Simple Flower Applique Free Pattern

With yellow color, make a magic ring.

Round 1: ch 1 (does not count as st), 5 sc into the ring, sl st to the first st. (5 sts)

Round 2: ch 1 (does not count as st), 2sc in each st across, sl st to the first st. (10 sts)

Round 3: Join the pink color, [(ch 4, tr in same st, tr in next st, ch 4, sl st to the same st- made one petal) ch 1, sl st in next st] 5 times. Fasten off and weave the end.
