This was my first time working with Ice Yarn and I love this Cakes Baby yarns. It’s so soft, self-striping, 3 Light, DK, Light worsted and 100% Acrylic yarn.

This sample blanket measures 28” x 28” but you can make it in any size if you want. If you like these colors and the pattern, grab the Ice Yarn Cakes Baby yarn (4 skeins will enough for a proper size baby blanket)

I made a very simple border around the blanket by crocheting ch 3, sk one st and sl st to next st.

Border:

*ch 3, sk next st, sl st to the next st; repeat * until last st.

Work on side of the blanket, *ch 3, sl st to the next side-dc; repeat until last side-dc, ch 3, sl st to the first dc in bottom side of the blanket.

Work on bottom side of the blanket, *ch 3, sk next st, sl st to the next st; repeat * until last st.

Work on side of the blanket, *ch 3, sl st to the next side-dc; repeat until last side-dc, ch 3, sl st to the first dc in top side of the blanket.
