With Valentine’s day quickly approaching, I crocheted some heart shaped Macarons!
I thought to share this fun and yummy looking crochet heart macaron recipe with you, too.
Let’s crochet heart macarons for Valentin’s day.
You can make bunches of these heart shaped macarons to celebrate Valentine’s day. Use them as a key tag. Aren’t they great for play food toys for kids?

These yummy looking crocheted heart macarons easy and fun to crochet. Perfect for Valentine’s day crochet treats.
I made these macarons in my favorite flavor. Chocolate, Vanila and Strawberry.

Heart Macaron Pattern
- You will need three motifs to make one heart macaron.
- One motif in cream color and other two in main color or flavour you like.
- For one motif need less than 8 yards.
Skill Level Intermediate
Finished size: 3″ wide, 1″ tall after stuffing
Materials
- 4-Medium weight / Worsted / cotton blend yarn in 2 colors (Approx: 26 yards total)
- 18 yards of main color
- 8 yards of cream color
- US H-8 (5mm) crochet hook
- Fiberfill
- Tapestry needle
Gauge is not very important for this project
Abbreviations (US term)
- ch = chain
- sl st = slip stitch
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- tr = treble crochet
- st = stitch
- beg = beginning
- *to; = repeat * to the instructions.
- RS = right side
Make 3 motifs. (two motifs in main color, one motif in cream color)
Make an adjustable ring
Round 1: (RS) ch 3, 3 tr, 4 dc, 1 tr, 4 dc, 3 tr into the ring, ch 3, join with sl st into the ring, (15 sts total)
Round 2: (RS) 3 sc in chain-3 space, 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st, sc in each of next 5 st, 3 sc in next st, sc in each of next 5 st, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st, 3 sc in chain-3 space, sl st to the adjustable ring. Cut the yarn and weave the end. (25 sts total)
Sew 3 motifs together
Hold three motifs together right side out.
Put cream color motif in the middle of two motifs in main color. (Put right side out of two motifs in main color)
With main color yarn about 15″ long and tapestry needle, insert the needle through two top loops of last round of 3 layers at once.
Add the stuffing to get the perfect shape like real macaron
When you finish crocheting, start stuffing thin layers of fiberfill through the stitches. Don’t forget to stuff two sides. I used handle side of the smaller hook to insert fiberfill and pull out the hidden edges (two loops) of the cream color motif around the heart macarons.
