Crochet Boho Bobble Bag Free Pattern

Materials
Yarn: #4 Medium / Worsted weight / Cotton blend yarn (approx: 350 yards total)
I used
– Yarn: 2 skeins of Ice Yarn Lorena Worsted Cream (55% Cotton, 45% Acrylic; 174 yards [160 meters] / 100g)
– Hook: (US) H-8 (5mm) crochet hook
– Tapestry needle for weaving ends
– Lining Piece Approx: 30″ x 30″, needle and thread for the lining.
– Zipper about 12 to 15” long (zipper should be 2-3” longer than the opening of the bag)
– Shoulder strap with lobster clasps
-2 D rings to attach to the bag sides.

Gauge: 15 sc x 15 rows = (4” x 4”) with (US) H-8 (5mm) crochet hook.

Crochet Boho Bobble Bag Pattern

(Make 2 squares)
Make a magic ring.
Round 1: ch 1 (in this round beg ch does not count as st) 12 dc into the ring, join with sl st in first st. (12 dc)

Round 2: ch 1 (in this round beg ch does not count as st), fpbobble in first st, [3 dc in next st, fpbobble in next st, ch 3, fpbobble in next st] 3 times, 3 dc in next st, fpbobble in next st, ch 3, join with sl st in first fpbobble st. (8 fpbobbles/12 dc)

Fasten off and cut the yarn

Round 1: Start in one of the corners, crochet sc in around the top of the bag evenly.

I crocheted 79 sts total, after crocheting around the bag, join with sl st in first st. Totally you will have 79 sts around the top of the bag.

Round 2 & 3: ch 1, sc in each st around, join with sl st to the first st. (72 sts)
Fasten off and weave the end.

Sew the two D rings to attach the strap to the bag

Sew zipper and lining to the Bag

Sew the zipper to the bag first. Cut the lining piece to match with the measurements of the bag, leaving extra 0.5″ for seam allowances. Hold the fabric right side facing inside and sew around.

Turn the right side out of the lining. And turn the wrong side out of the crochet bag. Insert the crochet bag into the lining. Add pins around the open first and sew with the backstitch.
