Joining granny squares
Arrange the 9 squares as shown in the image above. Start joining pieces together using single crochet and white color yarn.
Hold 2 pieces together facing the wrong side (WS) each other. Start from the middle st of the 3 st at the corner of both pieces.
Insert the hook into the both loop of each piece and start to make single crochet until the middle stitch of the next corner. Pick another two and repeat this method to join all the squares to make a large square.
After joining horizontally across, start joining vertically to complete the joining. (image 1 below)
At the end weave all the ends
Adding edging to the front panel
Crochet in front loop only, (RS) facing up the front panel, join white color yarn and crochet sc in FL of each st around while crocheting (sc, ch 1, sc) in each corner st (the middle st of the 3 st), at the end, join with sl st in first st. I crocheted 204 sc sts around.
